Zoltan Almasi and Etienne Bacrot
Dao vs. Michael Adams and Peter Svidler
Khalifman vs Lutz and Ivanchuk vs Ehlvest
Bojkovic vs. Galliamova and Onischuk vs Shirov The third knockout world chess championship is being held in the Hotel Hyatt, NewDelhi. The Hyatt Ballroom is very much appreciated by the participants and it is the playing hall. The Delhi climate is very much suited to the foreigners and they really relish their time spent at the Hyatt. The arrival of Vishy Anand has given a great impetus to the tournament. More spectators have started pouring into the Hyatt. The people at the Hyatt have also got a special energy and are happy discussing about the championship and the results eagerly. Vishy Anand easily moved into the third round and seems to be everybody's favorite to win the title. Ask any one present at the Hyatt (from the players to the spectators) they all think Anand would win. The Women championship seems to look more open with quite a few names being seen as potential winner. |
